S/4HANA Programme Director

We are looking for a highly experienced and results-driven S/4HANA Programme Director to join our pharmaceutical client. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end implementation of the S/4HANA program, ensuring that it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The S/4HANA Programme Director will work closely with the client’s leadership team to understand their business needs and translate them into actionable project plans, ensuring successful delivery of the program across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive S/4HANA program plan, ensuring alignment with the client’s business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Lead the program team to ensure successful delivery of the S/4HANA program, including management of scope, resources, timelines, risks, and issues.
  • Collaborate with the client’s business stakeholders to identify and prioritize the requirements, ensuring that the program addresses their needs.
  • Manage the relationships with external vendors and partners, ensuring that they deliver high-quality services and products.
  • Ensure that the program is delivered in accordance with the client’s policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide regular updates to the client’s executive team and stakeholders on the program’s progress, risks, and issues.
  • Define and implement governance and communication frameworks for the program, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the program’s lifecycle.
  • Manage the program budget and ensure that expenditures are within the approved budget limits.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the program and the overall performance of the client’s business processes.
  • Ensure that the program delivery meets the agreed upon performance targets, quality standards, and deliverables.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 10 years of experience in managing large-scale SAP projects, including S/4HANA implementations, with a strong track record of successful delivery.
  • In-depth knowledge of S/4HANA, SAP’s best practices, and industry-specific processes in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in managing external vendors and partners, with a focus on delivering high-quality services and products.
  • Experience in managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications are desirable.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
